My name is Austin Thompson, and I have the pleasure of being a supporter of Ryan Cox and familiar with the wonderful work he is doing under his leadership through Gwinnett Chatt Outreach. Ryan welcomed me last year, as I reached out to him as a volunteer for several of his activities. Ryan’s work with the youth in Gwinnett County is a tremendous value to their development and outlook on life. He is taking his personal time and money, and investing them in the welfare of these young people, which gives them the opportunity to understand that someone cares. Ryan’s selfless efforts also reinforces the reality that Gwinnett Chatt Outreach will assist them in acquiring access to all resources needed to facilitate their academic growth, develop leadership skills, and strengthen their social acumen. With my strong admiration for what Ryan and Gwinnett Chatt Outreach are doing, I recommend their organization for funding to help further their mission and commitment to the young people of Gwinnett County. As newly elected Councilman for the City of Lawrenceville, I look forward to seeing Ryan grow his organization, not only in Gwinnett County, but specifically being a positive influence with our youth in Lawrenceville. Ryan Cox and the Gwinnett Chatt Outreach organization have been phenomenal in the life of my son. Every single outing has opened his eyes to possibilities. This came at a time when my son was unclear about post secondary options. Mr. Cox is very patient, engaging and has a true passion for our youth. My son has a brighter outlook on his future now and, for that, I am grateful.

My son looks forward to participating in the sessions and he is learning so much. I know he will continue to benefit from your program.

I am so grateful for the Gwinnett Chatt Outreach program!  Ryan Cox and this program has had such a positive effect and has been very instrumental in assisting my son become more confident, social and making positive choices. Leo has special needs that causes him to learn differently than others and he has to work harder to achieve his goals but with the assistance of Gwinnett Chatt Outreach Leo will be attending the Automotive Technology Program at Gwinnett Technical College this Spring! I also would like to send a special thanks to one of the mentors, Mr. Weems for challenging Leo and offering to pay for ALL of Leo's books needed for the program!

I am writing to express my full support of the Gwinnett Chatt Outreach nonprofit organization led by Ryan Cox. Not only does he provide invaluable assistance to community members, he also works to expose young adults to new opportunities through his Bridging the Gap program. As an educator in Gwinnett, our system along with many others, are working to redesign education with the Learning 2025 initiative. There continues to be a focus on a school culture that is future-driven. A program like Bridging the Gap helps support this work and will have a great impact on our children as they are introduced to various career pathways and possibilities. I appreciate the work of this organization and urge more to get involved.
